Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
Track and follow up on permit applications to ensure timely approval to avoid project delays.
Serve as the primary point of contact with city departments.
Coordinate revisions to permit sets as needed with architects or engineers.
Work closely with the site superintendent to schedule required inspections at appropriate phases of construction.
Communicate inspection results with the team and assist in addressing any deficiencies or re-inspection requirements.
Keep a log of inspection dates, results, and corrective actions.
Ensure timely submission and accuracy of engineering deliverables for permit and construction needs.
Maintain organized records of permits, correspondence, reports, and applications.
Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders regarding permitting progress and potential impacts on timelines.
